Finished reading Mockingjay today...It reminds me a lot of reading Darren Shan's Demonota series. Lots of people dying for a greater cause. People that the story has made you love die a heroic, but gory end.

Over all, as strange as her writing style is, I fell in love with the series just as I did J.K Rowling's, Lemony Snicket's, Darren Shan's, and James Patterson's...oh and Margaret Peterson Haddix. (Can you tell I like to read?)

Yesterday was my best friend's daughter's birthday, but the party was held today. She just turned one and it breaks my heart to miss it. I was at the hospital for over ten waiting to see the baby girl for only ten minutes. Hopefully when 700 miles isn't keeping us apart I'll be there for all future ones, unlike her father. Thankfully my mother took pictures. My favourite one is of her holding the phone while I'm talking to her. And of course the one where she has a cake beard.
